The 2019 Summer Tournament season is just around the corner! We are taking names of those interested in coaching a summer tournament team. All names must be submitted to SYB President, Sean Conway by 5/28. The Board of Directors will vote on Manager and Head Coach and then the Manager can fill the staff with up to 2 more coaches. This vote will take place at the 5/28 SYB Board meeting.
Interested players must let us know of their interest to play this summer. Players must be present for at least 60% of their Little League schedule to participate on a summer team. Please send an email to Player Agent Ted Shpak

Teams will be assembled according to the following;
12U District Team
11U District Team
10U District Team
9U All Star team
8U All Star Team
District teams will be selected on June 1st. District teams are selected by a vote of the Managers at each age group, ie Majors Managers will vote for the 12U and 11U roster and AAA Managers will vote for the 10U roster. For the 9U and 8U teams a tryout will be held, if needed, on June 1st.
The District teams will play in the District Little League tournament, the Salem Tournament and any other tournament the coaches may decide to enter. The 8U and 9U squads will play in the Salem Tournament and any other tournament the coaches decide to enter. There will also be practices held. The Summer season will end by the 1st week of August.
Pre-Game Catch – Approx. 5:35PM – 5:55PM (time subject to move later based upon the team)
Please have everyone who is going to play catch arrive for no later than 5:05PM and check in at the Guest Service Center, located behind section 110 to turn in their child’s signed waiver.
Those that will be playing catch will need to have the waiver signed and hand stamped at the Guest Services Center.
We invite siblings to join as well. We need all coaches to help manage the boys on the field. We'd love to get a big group picture before we leave the field.
First pitch for Brody McGeoch – please communicate with him or his parents/coach to have him here for no later than 5:45PM and check in at the Guest Service Center upon arrival. It’s important he checks in and receives his lanyard as the Guest Service Manager will go over when he will need to return to the area to toss out the ceremonial pitch.
Tickets will be in the concession stand during this evening's games or distributed to Coaches as follows:
Coaches that have all their teams tickets: Green Monsters, AA Nationals, AA Cubs, AA Mets, AA Dodgers, AAA Shamrocks, AAA Orange Crush, AAA Red Devils, TBall Blue Jays. Please coordinate with Coach to collect your tickets prior to tomorrow's game.
We are opening the Salem Youth Baseball Apparel store once again. Store will close this Friday 5/24. Gear will be delivered in early June.

The Exchange Section of the web site is now open. This service can be used to post information about used baseball equipment that is in working condition and you would like to sell. This area will also be used as an on-line lost and found where the posting can take place.
To access the exchange, click on the "Exchange" tab on the left on the home page of SYB. You can also see current items in the Exchange listed on the right side of the SYB home page.
